Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a New Grad Registered Nurse for the New Grad Float Pool. This role exposes you to diverse patient populations and teams to help you find the best fit for your nursing career.

As an RN, you will follow the nursing process under the Nurse Leader, collaborate with patients and families, and document education in the health record. This full-time night role offers 36 hours weekly with variable days and every-other weekend.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred within 5 years.
• MI RN license and NCLEX completion required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• New grad pool with exposure to acute care environments.

Responsibilities

• The RN uses the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate, discharge) to deliver care.
• Provide high-quality patient care under the Nurse Leader and Corewell Health policies.
• Partner with patients and families to align care goals and plan of care.
• Develop teaching strategies for patients/families and document education in health records.
