Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is seeking a Night Shift, Full-Time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The facility location is 5151 N 9th Ave, Pensacola, FL 32504, US, on-site. The role supports patient care in a fast-paced ED environment.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, observation and documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team. You will participate in transition-to-practice programs while contributing to high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required or eligible prior to hire.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent licensure.
• Strong observation and communication skills within a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures in collaboration with a registered nurse.
• Assist with patient care including observation and documentation of health needs and communicate pertinent information to the RN and healthcare team.
• Assist with documentation and implementation of orders under the direction of the RN preceptor.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Engage in transition-to-practice programs to develop clinical thinking and safe, person-centered care.
