Job summary

Ascension Health in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Night Shift RN for the Studer Family Children's Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart Pediatric Emergency Department. You will implement and monitor patient care plans and coordinate care across disciplines.

Responsibilities include documenting patient condition, executing physician and nursing orders, and coordinating discharge planning with the healthcare team. Requires Florida RN license, BLS/ACLS within specified timelines and a nursing diploma.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in Florida prior to hire date
• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire; Instructor in BLS acceptable
• ACLS/ALCS (Advanced Life Support) within 6 months of hire; Instructor in ACLS acceptable

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans; observes and communicates patient condition
• Acts as primary coordinator of multidisciplinary patient care
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning with the healthcare team

Education

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing
