Job summary

Research Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, offers a paid RN Residency Program for new graduate nurses across the Kansas City area, including Research Medical Center. Start dates occur every two weeks with flexibility around graduation dates and NCLEX.

The program provides advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, mentorship, and hands-on simulations to prepare you for high-quality, patient-centered care under supervision.

Qualifications

• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification obtained within 1 year of employment.
• State RN license or eligibility as a Graduate Nurse.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• No prior nursing experience required.
• Some travel may be required for training.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during each shift.
• Perform procedures and document care in the patient record.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic response.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
