Qualifications

• BLS obtained within 30 days of employment
• ACLS obtained within 1 year of employment
• RN license or Graduate Nurse in the state
• No previous experience needed
• Some travel may be needed for training

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and at each shift, report changes
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, meds, and follow-up measures
