Job summary

Advocate Health in Macon, GA is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse for the Cardiology Pre/Post Procedure unit. The role is 12 hours per week with shifts such as 6A-6:30P or 9:30A-10P, and may vary.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, monitoring patient conditions, ensuring safety, and documenting in the EHR. Minimum requirements include graduation from a Board of Nursing approved program and an active RN license with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where services are provided.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Applies nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains timely EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Communicates effectively and supports mentorship and delegation where appropriate.
• Pursues ongoing professional development and maintains required certifications.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and supports unbiased patient care.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
