Atrium Health's 30-bed unit seeks an experienced RN for a fast-paced environment focused on pre- and post-operative cardiac care, including heart catheterization, pacemaker insertion, TAVR, cardioversion, and ablations. The unit also cares for a diverse mix of medical-surgical and orthopedic patients.

We emphasize collaborative, patient-centered care with a strong focus on pain management, mobility, and post-surgical recovery.

Formación

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice where services provided.

Responsabilidades

• Engages in unit governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate care while addressing patient needs.
