Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent- The Medical Center is a fast-paced, 30-bed unit specializing in pre- and post-operative cardiac care. We care for patients undergoing heart catheterization, pacemaker insertion, TAVR, cardioversion and ablations, providing comprehensive care before and after these procedures.

The unit also treats a diverse mix of medical-surgical and orthopedic patients. Our team is dedicated to collaboration, pain management, mobility and safe post-surgical recovery, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required/expected within 6 months of hire date.
• Cardiac/critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
