Qualifications

• RN licensure required by PA Board of Nursing.
• BSN or higher required within 3 years of RN hire date.
• Graduate RN may practice under supervision; NCLEX must be completed within 60 days.
• New hires with temporary permit must complete Nurse Residency Program.
• CPR/AHA Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and other programs.
• Complies with the unit-based Plan for Provision of Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and administer treatments.
• Coordinate care with interprofessional team to ensure continuity.
• Educate patients and families on health practices and treatments.
