Job summary

Penn Medicine's Lancaster General Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse 1 New to Practice/Apprentice for full-time night shift (7pm–7am). You will provide direct patient care to diverse populations, with mentorship as you progress toward Clinical Nurse 2 within 18 months.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, applying evidence-based practice and safety standards to support quality outcomes and family-centered care across the continuum.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required by PA Board of Nursing.
• BSN preferred for Magnet designated RN positions or within 3 years of placement.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments focusing on physiologic, psychological and cognitive functions.
• Evaluate progress and adapt care plan based on trends.
• Coordinate care across disciplines and care teams.
