Job summary

Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital is seeking a dedicated RN to join a 41-bed unit spanning Medical-Surgical and Observation areas. You will provide direct nursing care, interact with patients and families, and participate in ongoing professional development.

The role includes prioritizing patient care, documenting in medical records, and collaborating with a support team to ensure safe, high-quality care. Minimum qualifications include ADN/BSN, RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• New grad or less than one year RN experience, or RN moving from non-inpatient to acute care with <1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Interact with patients, families and visitors to enhance the experience.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and act to correct it.
• Seek supervision when unable to perform safely.
• Document in patients’ medical records.
