Ascension Health in Waco, TX offers a Nurse Residency Program for new graduates transitioning to professional practice in an ICU setting at Providence. The role runs nights and is full-time, with start dates in January/February 2027 and residency cohorts beginning in Winter 2027.

December 2026 graduates are eligible for consideration. You will work under an RN preceptor to gain hands-on experience and mentorship.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing prior to hire date or transfer date.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
