Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Springfield, MO is seeking a new graduate Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will provide in-home therapy to adult and geriatric clients, receive structured orientation, and benefit from dedicated clinical support and experienced OT mentors as you transition to independent practice.

This role emphasizes one-on-one care, collaboration with physicians and nurses, and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
• Graduation from an OT program accredited by the appropriate bodies.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' functional status and mobility.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and safety.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions in patients' homes.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, mobility, fall prevention, and home safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, OT, SLP, and other healthcare professionals.
• Complete timely electronic documentation while maintaining high standards of patient care.
