BAYADA Home Health Care in Springfield, MO is seeking a new graduate Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will receive mentorship, build patient relationships, and launch your OT career in a supportive home-health setting.

You will work with experienced clinicians, participate in orientation, and develop programs that maximize independence for adults and geriatric clients in their homes, with strong clinical support and ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
• Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and assess patients' functional status and mobility.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and safety.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions in patients' homes.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, mobility, fall prevention, and home safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Complete timely electronic documentation while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
