Job summary

Mass Digital Health is hiring a New Graduate Extern for the Med Surg 1st Floor unit at West Chester Hospital. This role offers essential training for nursing licensure while providing patient care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate must have recently completed a nursing program.
• Must have BLS certification and effective communication skills.
• Experience in patient care services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive precepted training for the Ohio Board of Nursing licensure exam.
• Perform non-nursing aspects of patient care as assigned.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to RN.

Skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Basic computer skills

Competence in basic patient-care tasks allowed by law

Education

Graduate of a nursing program (ASN, BSN, or MSN) within the last 6 months
