Job summary

Mass Digital Health is seeking a New Graduate Extern for the Med Surg 1st Floor unit at West Chester Hospital. The extern will support high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include precepted training for the Ohio nursing licensure exam and performing assigned patient care tasks. Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (ASN, BSN, or MSN) within the last 6 months.
• BLS Certification (required).
• Prior experience as unlicensed assistive personnel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive precepted training to prepare for the Ohio Board of Nursing licensure exam.
• Perform non-nursing aspects of patient care as assigned by a supervising RN.
• Observe changes in patient condition and report to RN.
