Job summary

SSM Health WI Ripon Medical Center is seeking a Pre-licensure graduate nurse to join its New Graduate Nurse Residency Program. You will work under the RN and contribute to patient care across a broad range of conditions, developing your confidence, knowledge, and clinical skills.

The program features monthly four-hour virtual sessions over twelve months, with a focus on transitioning to professional practice and meeting professional standards within the SSM Health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Eligible to practice as determined by State Board of Nursing.
• One year experience or less working as an RN.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the RN Preceptor, perform delegated tasks.
• Conduct patient assessments including biophysical and psychosocial needs.
• Develop education plans for patients and families; provide coaching.
