Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Madison in Wisconsin is seeking a licensed new graduate nurse for the New Graduate Nurse Residency Program. Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• No work experience required.
• Registered Nurse licensure in Wisconsin or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized nursing tasks based on demonstrated competence to care for patients.
• Performs patient assessments including biophysical, psychosocial, spiritual, cultural and age-specific needs.
• Develops educational plans for patients and families and provides health coaching.
• Documents accurately and timely, processes physician orders, and monitors care delivery.
• Collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals in patient care.
• Assists with competency requirements and applies evidence-based practices.
