SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital – Madison is seeking licensed new graduate nurses for participation in the SSM Health New Graduate Nurse Residency Program.

You will provide professional nursing care, assess and plan patient care, and collaborate with the care team to deliver age-appropriate care across a broad range of medical conditions. The role emphasizes hands-on patients care, documentation accuracy, and ongoing professional development through the residency program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program or education equivalency for licensing.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized tasks to provide nursing care for patient population served.
• Conducts patient assessments including biophysical, psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, and age-appropriate needs.
• Develops and delivers patient/family education and coaching.
• Documents accurately and timely, following policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals regarding patient care.
• Applies evidence-based practice to nursing care for age-specific and clinical needs.
