Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking a Field Engineer to lead on construction sites, providing technical engineering information to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and contract specifications. You will collaborate with project crews daily to align schedules, quantities, and resources while supporting design input and field layouts.

The position requires a related bachelor's degree with 1+ year of construction engineering experience and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 1+ year of experience preferred in construction engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, specifications and materials.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily with project crews to review production schedules and confirm material readiness for on-schedule production within budget.
• Collect and analyze shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements, and project data for quality and compliance.
• Assist field layout planning and utility/line marking before production and coordinate permits as needed.
• Review project specifications for quality assurance and manage certificates, inspections and documentation.
