Job summary

HNTB in Virginia Beach and surrounding locations is seeking an Engineer with a Bachelor's degree to contribute to design, reports, estimates, and data collection for major infrastructure projects. You will complete assigned work within the schedule and assist engineering teams with design files and analysis.

A Master's degree and EIT certification are preferred, and familiarity with MicroStation or AutoCAD is valued.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Strong understanding of engineering principles.
Familiar with Microsoft Office; experience with MicroStation and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Completes assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided.
Supports the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
Supports engineering teams with various tasks and duties including but not limited to research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.
Performs other duties as assigned
