Job summary

HNTB is seeking engineers to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects across the Washington, DC area. You will complete assignments on schedule, assist with reports, plans, and calculations, and support quantity and cost estimates for projects.

Minimum requirement is a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with familiarity in Microsoft Office and CAD tools such as MicroStation or AutoCAD. Master’s degree, EIT, and CAD proficiency are preferred assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD or similar software.
• Master's degree in Engineering is preferred.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Supports the preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Supports engineering teams with data collection, field investigations, development and design tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned
