Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, completed in 2026 (summer or fall graduates welcome).
• Experience with electrical hardware design, embedded systems, or test bench development.
• Hands-on lab skills with oscillosopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, soldering, and crimping.
• Familiarity with embedded C/C++ and Python.
• Exposure to CAN/LIN/Ethernet or related protocols.
• Willingness to work hands-on in a lab and vehicle garage environment.

Responsibilities

• Design routing and retention of harnesses, cables, and connectors for easy assembly and robust functionality.
• Build, instrument, and maintain hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) test benches for electrical system validation.
• Perform firmware bringup on new ECUs and vehicle hardware, including flashing, debugging, and validating interfaces.
• Develop BOMs, wire and material specifications.
• Create CAD models/drawings using SolidWorks and Altium for interconnects.
