Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Design Application Engineer (New College Grad) in Santa Clara, CA. You will bridge customers and GF, translating requirements into enablement plans and coordinating with internal experts from design concept through tape-out to ensure first-time-right design execution.

The role emphasizes building GF technology expertise, documenting technical collateral, and supporting customers with design flow guidance, PDK usage, and EDA tool integration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Fluent in English (written and verbal).
New college graduate expected for 2027 program.

Responsibilities

Review and reproduce customer and enablement issues and recommend design enablement solutions.
Drive design enablement solutions with internal teams, EDA partners, and technology experts to meet deadlines.
Track actions, risks, customer cases and technical closure criteria.
Develop customer-facing presentations, application notes, evaluation summaries, and technical documentation.
