If this environment excites you, we have an exciting opportunity for a New Grad Civil Engineer / Structural Engineer.

This position is hybrid, requiring 2 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Woods, PA, Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation assistance is provided. We are open to candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future, as we cannot sponsor visas for this role.

Your Day-to-Day:

1. Support civil/structural design activities, including creating calculations for structural steel or concrete design.
2. Address technical issues related to fabrication, assembly, and construction phases, including design change justifications and troubleshooting emergent issues.
3. Provide on-site support for various utilities and smaller projects when needed.
4. Gain familiarity with analytical tools such as ANSYS, LS-DYNA, and GTSTRUDL.
5. Assist in maintaining software compliance records and closing engineering corrective actions.
6. Learn applicable industry civil/structural codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, AWS) and company policies.
7. Develop engineering sketches and markups using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Prior internship or industry experience is a plus.
• 0-3 years of experience required.
• FE certification is a plus.
