Job summary

UF Health is opening a brand-new Freestanding Emergency Department in Jacksonville's Intracoastal area, and we’re looking for experienced ED RNs to join from the start. The RN provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process and standards of practice for a professional nurse, and will function as charge nurse when assigned.

Required: Florida State RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, 1 year ED RN experience. Education: Associates in nursing; BSN within 3 years of hire; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Florida State RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• 1 year of ED RN experience.
• Associates degree in nursing required; BSN preferred within 3 years.
• Florida RN license and current certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and standards of practice.
• Function as charge nurse when assigned and coordinate care with the team.
• Deliver age-appropriate care across patient populations in the ED.
