Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking a New-Construction Operations Manager in Richmond, VA (Petersburg) to lead branch operations, sales and production for our office clientele and staff. The role requires strong knowledge of custom residential construction, production-building experience, and a servant-leader management style.

You will oversee leads, budget, weekly updates, pipeline and contracts, while recruiting, mentoring, and coordinating with subs and vendors to optimize profitability and growth.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of custom residential construction.
• Experience with production building (multiple homes at once).
• Servant-leader management style.
• Familiar with South Richmond VA area and local vendors.
• Ability to drive Production & Sales processes and grow the team.

Responsibilities

• Review new leads with Sales Team.
• Review advertising and approve budget.
• Weekly updates with Division President.
• Review sales pipeline, contracts, starts, warranty, settlements.
• Review projections and challenges with managers & corporate.
• Inspect jobs when necessary and conduct final review meetings.
• Plan reviews; recruit, hire, train, mentor, and supervise staff, subs and vendors.
• Engage networking and negotiate contracts and hire subs/suppliers.
• Review overhead costs and general P&L; address customer concerns & resolutions.
