Heritage Pools LLC is looking for a New Construction Equipment Installer to install and service pool equipment for our new construction projects. As Charleston’s leading pool builder, we take pride in ensuring every project is completed with high-quality craftsmanship. This role is essential in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining the equipment that keeps pools running efficiently.

Job Overview

The NC Equipment Installer is responsible for installing and servicing pool equipment, including pumps, plumbing systems, automation, and heating elements. This position requires mechanical expertise, the ability to read blueprints and diagrams, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Position Details

• Location: Charleston, SC
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Reports To: Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Installation & Setup: Install all pool equipment for new construction projects, including pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems.
• Set up and configure pool equipment pads to ensure proper functionality.
• Perform long plumbing installations and make necessary plaster patches.
• Install in-floor circulation and cleaning systems.

Diagnostics & Repairs

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with pool equipment.
• Provide service estimates for equipment repairs or replacements.
• Assist in maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of installed systems.

Customer Interaction & Team Support

• Interact with customers to explain equipment operation and answer any service-related questions.
• Maintain professional and ethical conduct while on-site.
• Collaborate with service managers to meet company guidelines and safety standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in pool equipment installation, plumbing, or electrical systems preferred.

Skills & Physical Requirements

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of 110V and 220V electrical wiring.
• Understanding of plumbing systems, automation, and multi-meter usage.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, bend, and stand for extended periods.
