Job summary

Stone Mechanical, part of TurnPoint Services, is seeking an HVAC Install Technician to join our Cookeville team. You will install residential and light commercial systems, read blueprints, and ensure quality workmanship with a focus on customer experience.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of HVAC install experience, EPA Universal Certification, and the ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoors. Valid driver's license and safety-minded attitude required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential or light commercial HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Strong understanding of HVAC design, airflow, and duct layout.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and meeting physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, and ventilation components.
• Lay out, fabricate, and install ductwork and related fittings to specification.
• Perform start-up, testing, and commissioning of newly installed equipment.
• Ensure installations meet local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and vehicles.
• Work closely with Install Leads, Supervisors, and other team members to ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with homeowners or building occupants regarding system operation and maintenance.
• Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Install Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the installation of residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, pays close attention to detail and is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience on every project.
