Job summary

Sunny Service, part of TurnPoint Services, is seeking a skilled HVAC Install Technician in the Dallas area to install residential and light commercial systems. You will read blueprints, lay out ductwork, perform start-up, testing, and commissioning, and ensure compliance with local codes and manufacturer specs.

We value safety, attention to detail, and customer-focused service. The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential or light commercial HVAC installation experience.
• HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, and ventilation components.
• Lay out, fabricate, and install ductwork and related fittings to specification.
• Perform start-up, testing, and commissioning of newly installed equipment.
• Ensure installations meet local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and vehicles.
• Work closely with Install Leads, Supervisors, and other team members to ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with homeowners or building occupants regarding system operation and maintenance.
• Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Install Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the installation of residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, pays close attention to detail, and is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience on every project.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in residential or light commercial HVAC installation (required). - HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience. - EPA Universal Certification (required). - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals. - Strong understanding of HVAC system design, airflow, and duct layout. - Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments. - Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and meet the physical demands of the job. - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
