Job summary

Sobieski New Homes seeks a full-time Residential New Construction HVAC Mechanic in Elizabeth City, NC. You will install and startup heating and cooling systems in new homes, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with codes.

Licensed journeyman or 3+ years of experience preferred. Competitive hourly wage for this role ($25–$35) plus excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, holidays, a 401(k) plan, free training, and a flexible schedule to support work-life

Qualifications

• Journeyman license (preferred) or 3+ years of new home construction experience.
• Knowledge of state codes.
• Hands-on knowledge of residential HVAC new construction.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions, heights, and in tight spaces.
• Have own hand tools regularly used by HVAC mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Install and startup heating and cooling systems in residential new construction.
• Perform quality installations and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Operate safely and in compliance with applicable codes.
