The role also dedicates 40% to customer service, mail handling, and project work, with an emphasis on accuracy and timely completion. Aassociate degree or equivalent is required, with 2–4 years in related fields.

Qualifications

• Two to four years' experience in business, underwriting, or related field.
• Ability to keyboard 50 words per minute.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally with clients and co-workers.
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and issuing new business accident, critical illness, disability, hospital and life applications.
• Verifying compliance forms, contracting issues, and riders.
• Communicating with brokers and sales via email, phone, and written correspondence.
• Processing policy changes and endorsements; arranging ownership and beneficiaries.
• Working with the Business Transformation team on processing improvements and parameter definitions.
• Providing customer service internally and externally via the department ACD line.
• Hybrid Lincoln-based role with three onsite days and two remote days.
