Job summary

Assurity is seeking a Case Specialist in Lincoln, NE for a full-time, hybrid position. You will review policies, verify eligibility, coordinate with underwriters and brokers, and manage case activity to ensure accurate processing.

The role requires 3–5 years in underwriting or related fields, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication. Hybrid schedule: three onsite days, two remote days. Provide support to the underwriting team and maintain compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or related field or equivalent required.
• Willing to obtain industry designation (ACS, PCS, FLMI).
• High accuracy and attention to detail required.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review files for accuracy and make required changes.
• Verify applicant eligibility for benefits.
• Ensure replacements processed correctly and code MIBs.
• Coordinate with underwriters, brokers and other departments during issue process.
• Prepare and reissue policies and manage documentation.
• Communicate with brokers via phone, email, and written correspondence.
