Jacobs Financial Services (JFS) is seeking an organized, service-minded New Business Processor to manage fixed indexed annuity cases from application submission through carrier review, policy issue, transfers, and funding. This role coordinates with clients, producers, and carriers to keep cases complete, accurate, compliant, and moving forward promptly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to financial accuracy and exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate fixed indexed annuity applications from submission through carrier review, contract issue, delivery coordination, and funding.
- Review applications and servicing paperwork for completeness; identify missing information and follow up with producers, clients, and carriers.
- Maintain accurate case records and detailed notes in RedTail and company tracking tools, including application status, annuity numbers, transfers, rollovers, and funding activity.
- Coordinate incoming transfers and rollovers, monitor progress, and communicate case status to clients and producers.
- Handle incoming new business calls professionally, document client conversations, and elevate questions or concerns to the appropriate producer or carrier contact.
- Coordinate with producers and carriers on suitability documentation and processing requirements; elevate incomplete or unclear information for review.
- Prepare and distribute daily production updates and weekly pending business reports.
- Contact clients with pending cases to provide status updates and identify actions needed to keep cases moving.
- Coordinate submission of client checks to carriers when needed and track receipt and application to the case.
- Protect confidential client information and follow company procedures for records and sensitive documents.
Qualifications
- Experience in insurance new business, annuity processing, life insurance administration, or related financial services operations, with familiarity in fixed indexed annuity applications, carrier requirements, transfers, rollovers, and case tracking preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and follow-up tasks.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong commitment to client service.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or case management systems; experience with RedTail is a plus.
- Ability to use discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential personal and financial information.
