Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of health insurance/health care field experience in a service/sales/marketing role, or 5 years in health care management in a marketing service representative role, or 5 years in sales/marketing/health care management/claims/provider service experience.
• State Insurance License(s) required or obtain within the time frame per state regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills and ability to interact professionally with internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Gather data, create and/or maintain databases.
• Participate in enrollments. Prepare materials for enrollment sessions.
• Prepare documentation for prospective or existing customers. Review forms received for completeness.
• Develop relationships with customer representatives. May respond to questions from prospect regarding benefit information and available benefit options.
• May include some travel.
• Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.
• Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
• Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
• Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
