Americo is hiring a full-time New Business Associate I to join our expanding team. The role is on-site at our downtown Kansas City, MO office, with hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, supporting onboarding of life and annuity policies and handling administrative tasks.

The New Business department processes applications, answers inquiries, and ensures timely policy issuance within set guidelines. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication, and teamwork in a collaborative

Overview

The New Business department is responsible for onboarding life and annuity policies and managing administrative processes aligned with established service levels and guidelines.

This role supports internal agent and client-facing departments and plays a key role in processing applications, handling inbound inquiries, and ensuring timely and accurate policy issuance within established guidelines and service level expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process work via telephone, email, and other electronic methods.
• Index and submit application data into AWD, APNG, NBU, and NBUW systems.
• Review applications, make decisions, and take appropriate actions to issue, close, and process funding sources within service standards.
• Communicate with agents during routine policy processing.
• Handle internal phone inquiries from agent and client-facing departments.
• Assist with additional departmental needs, including reporting, quality, testing, special assignments, and projects.
