Your Role

We are seeking a results-driven Account Manager to join our Partner Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through a dual focus on both aggressive sales strategies and long-term partnership development. The ideal candidate will excel at identifying and closing new revenue opportunities within existing merchant accounts while simultaneously building strong, consultative relationships that ensure partner retention and satisfaction. You will leverage data-driven insights, market intelligence, and performance analysis to optimize campaign effectiveness and deliver measurable business outcomes. This role requires someone who can connect macroeconomic trends—including shifts in consumer behavior, policy changes, and supply chain disruptions—to partner performance and develop strategic recommendations accordingly.

What You'll Do

Drive Revenue Growth: Proactively identify, pursue, upsell, and close upsell opportunities within your portfolio of merchant accounts, consistently exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.

Negotiate Strategically: Demonstrate expertise in negotiating terms (commission rates, flat fees, exclusive offers) that maximize incremental value for both parties to strengthen partnership success.

Develop Partnerships: Serve as the primary point of contact for key merchant accounts, cultivating deep relationships with decision-makers and positioning yourself as a trusted strategic advisor.

Optimize Performance:Analyze campaign data and market trends to develop customized promotional strategies that drive incremental revenue and align with client business objectives.

Work Cross-Functionally: Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless program execution and optimize partner performance.

Deliver Strategic Business Reviews: Present compelling business reviews, market insights, and performance results to key stakeholders, demonstrating clear ROI and future growth opportunities.

  • Leverage Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of affiliate and performance marketing trends, competitor strategies, and broader economic indicators (tariffs, market volatility, policy changes), connecting these insights to client strategy and campaign planning.

What You'll Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in new and key account management, strategic partnership development, or performance marketing (or an equivalent combindation of education and experience).
  • Demonstrated ability to think commercially and connect market trends to business outcomes
  • Strong sales acumen with proven success in pipeline development and closing revenue opportunities for growth.
  • Experience with affiliate programs, platforms and tracking systems (e.g., Impact, Partnerize, CJ, Rakuten, Awin).
  • Knowledge of e-commerce, DTC, and retail business models and their relationship to broader market/industry trends.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Airtable, Tableau).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AI tools and technologies for enhanced personal productivity and workflow optimization.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple high-priority projects.
  • Self-starter with a strategic mindset and hunger for achievement
