Job description

Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking a New Accounts Manager. At Hexagon, we strive to help industrial manufacturers develop the disruptive technologies of today and the life-changing products of tomorrow. Our strength comes from our global footprint and enormous portfolio of advanced industrial sensors, measurement technologies, factory automation, simulation, and analytics tools.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new accounts and expand the customer base.
  • Identify potential clients and build strong relationships to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective campaigns and promotions.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
  • Strong understanding of the manufacturing industry and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently in a stationary position for long periods of time; occasional bending/kneeling.
  • Manual dexterity required for keyboard use, operating office equipment, grasping objects.
  • Regularly move around the office and occasionally the factory floor.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and adjust focus.
  • Frequently communicates with other employees and customers.
  • Primarily an office setting, with occasional visits to the factory floor.
  • Office is clean, orderly, properly lighted, and ventilated.
  • Office noise levels are considered low to moderate.
  • Factory noise levels are considered moderate.
  • If required, PPE will be provided.
  • May require travel up to 50% or more.
