Job summary

Burning Man Project in Nevada seeks an NVO Supervisor to partner with leadership, align people, projects, and priorities, and own key initiatives. This role evolves toward broader operational leadership across Gerlach, Black Rock Station, and Black Rock City.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, proactive, and discreet, with strong communication and problem-solving abilities to manage competing priorities and build cross-department relationships.

Qualifications

• Live near or in Gerlach.
• 3-5 years of administrative support experience.
• 3-5 years of management experience.
• Flexible schedule around the Burning Man event in Nevada.
• Lead by example with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
• Confidentiality is a must.
• Versatile computer skills and experience using Google Suite and Asana.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support across Nevada Operations functions.
• Coordinate communications and cross-department collaboration.
• Assist with operational planning and event coordination.
• Maintain SOPs, process manuals, and job descriptions for seasonal teams.
• Attend staff meetings and support front desk operations as needed.
