Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation is seeking a Project Supervisor for its Round Mountain operations in Nevada. The role oversees the Projects Department, aligning daily activities with Kinross values and managing capital and non-capital projects assigned by the Projects Superintendent.

You will coordinate with on-site stakeholders and business partners, write SOWs, review bids, and ensure schedules, costs, and safety requirements are met. This is a full-time on-site position at Round Mountain, NV.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in the mining or construction industry.
• Supervisory experience required (5+ years).
• Knowledge of pump and piping systems, structural design, conveyors, electrical and instrumentation and control preferred.
• Ability to manage development of all projects assigned.
• Must be a salaried employee with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience.
• Requires valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Projects Department and ensure alignment with Kinross values.
• Act as liaison between stakeholders and on-site business partners to meet engineering specs and supervision requirements.
• Write and review SOWs for each project.
• Review bids with stakeholders and recommend to Supply Chain.
• Write PTW (Permit to Work) for departments and business partners.
• Monitor schedules and priorities to stay on schedule and costs.
• Oversee field activities to ensure safe operations and recommend revised procedures.
• Lead weekly meetings for each project with Projects, Departments and Partners.
• Communicate promptly when schedules affect other departments.
• Review invoices for accuracy and notify if discrepancies.
• Uphold consistency in applying company policies.
• Maintain confidentiality as required.
• Perform other related functions as assigned by Superintendent.
