Job summary

LLNL in Nevada seeks a Nevada Experiment Integration Manager to oversee sub-critical experiments at NNSS, leading fielding teams and coordinating with NNSS M&O and the NFO to ensure safe, compliant execution at the U1a Complex and DAF.

You will require a DOE Q or Top Secret clearance, a degree in engineering, and demonstrated leadership of nuclear operations teams, with strong planning and communication. Travel up to 50% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Active DOE Q clearance or Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• Significant experience leading multidisciplinary nuclear operations teams.
• Experience with project planning, scheduling, and meeting completion dates.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% between Las Vegas, NV and Livermore, CA or other DOE sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a large team of engineers, scientists, and technicians to ensure efficient operations and successful experiments.
• Develop integrated execution plans for complex dynamic experiments, detailing scope, schedule, and resource sharing.
• Participate in design and operations reviews to inform experiment plans and ensure safety readiness.
• Coordinate with WPD teams to verify requirements and engineering specs.
• Monitor schedules and report milestones to program leadership; address costly risks.
• Interface with NNSS M&O and NFO to prioritize activities across agencies.
• Ensure compliance with Conduct of Operations, Work Control, Training and Qualification, Issues Management, Readiness, and Safety Programs.
• Complete training qualification as a Test Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
