Bronson Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neurovascular Unit (NVU) at BMH Bronson Methodist Hospital in Michigan. The NVU is a 40-bed unit focused on neurological diagnoses including stroke and epilepsy, with specialized neuro-monitoring capabilities.

The RN delivers comprehensive nursing care, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and supports discharge planning while advancing patient outcomes in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred, must obtain within 8 years of hire.
• Licensed RN in good standing for the state of Michigan.
• BLS certification required by completion of core orientation.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required for some RNs, depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care based on assessment, planning, and evaluation.
• Coordinate care with other professionals to ensure quality outcomes.
• Document patient responses and resource use during each shift.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to patient care assistants within scope of practice.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and advocacy throughout the stay.
