Job summary

Rapid Medical in Indianapolis is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support territory strategy and case coverage alongside the Territory Manager and Regional Manager. You will grow market share through lab visits, training, and education, applying your vascular and interventional radiology expertise in a commercial setting.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a daily cadence of presence in customer accounts through lab visits, case coverage, stroke call, and training and education.
  • Provide in-servicing and clinical information to end users in and around procedure rooms and surgical suites.
  • Communicate with customers to understand account needs and patient populations, and identify opportunities to introduce Rapid Medical technology.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management, and resolve issues that arise post-sale.
  • Resolve customer questions by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
  • Introduce customers to new products, services, and enhancements.
  • Support market development efforts that increase the number of patients able to receive our treatment.
  • Monitor competitive activity within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain and grow professional and technical knowledge through training, workshops, publications, and professional societies.

Job description

Rapid Medical is a commercial-stage neurovascular medical device company. Our technology is used in stroke and aneurysm procedures, and our clinical team works alongside interventional physicians in the procedure room.

As a Clinical Specialist, you support territory strategy and tactics alongside your aligned Territory Manager and Regional Manager. Your work grows market share and builds long-term relationships through case coverage and clinical education.

This role is a strong fit for radiologic technologists, cath lab and neuro IR staff, and clinical professionals looking to bring their procedural expertise into a commercial environment.

What you will do

How performance is measured

This position does not carry an individual sales quota. Performance is measured through quarterly business objectives and your contribution to converting market share within the assigned territory.

Requirements:
  • Vascular experience and interventional radiology knowledge

Travel and physical requirements
  • Multi-state travel required 40 to 60% of the time to support accounts within the defined territory
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving between worksites
  • Light work including moving objects up to 35 pounds
  • Operating motor vehicles
  • Manual dexterity, coordination, and use of technology
