Job summary

Brown University Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support the Neurovascular Center in Providence, RI. You will manage a caseload of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients, coordinate care across ED, stroke service, and neurointerventional radiology, and collaborate with the Medical Director of Patient Services.

The role includes advanced practice procedures, pre- and post-procedure care, rounds with vascular neurology, and education of staff and residents.

Qualifications

• MS in nursing or equivalent required.
• NP or PA credential with specialty certification for NP.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of neurovascular patients.
• Coordinate care across ED, stroke service and NIR.
• Provide advanced practice care and pre/post-procedure support.
• Participate in education and mentoring of staff.
