Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK is hiring a Neurovascular and Interventional Radiology Technologist for full-time day shifts (1.0 FTE, 40 hours/week). A $20,000 hiring bonus is available for eligible external hires who meet qualification requirements, and relocation assistance is offered for eligible hires.

The role assists physicians in performing invasive cardiovascular procedures with advanced equipment and maintains strict patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 3 years direct work experience in Cardiovascular/interventional radiology as Cardiovascular Technologist
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required upon hire or within 90 days for PALS

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in invasive, interventional and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures using advanced equipment and monitors.
• Apply knowledge of vascular, cardiac, and pediatric procedural practices and emergent techniques.
• Support quality control and quality improvement programs within the lab.
• Uphold team-based care reflecting Providence mission and patient confidentiality.

We are hiring for Neurovascular and Interventional Radiology Technologist positions at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

• Position is full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shifts, 40 hours per week.
• $20,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
• Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Assists cardiovascular Physicians in performing and completing invasive, interventional and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in Labs using a variety of complicated/advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies. Knowledgeable in Vascular, Cardiac, and Pediatric Procedural practice as well as emergent techniques/protocol. Assists in Quality Control checks/Quality Improvement Program. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes "team" concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy. Able to observe hospital and departmental policies on confidentiality. CVS patients served range from neonates to senior citizens.

Required Qualifications:

• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degreefrom an accredited school with supervised clinical experience in invasive Cardiovascular, and/or Interventional Radiological procedures.
• Previous Special Procedures/Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist experience.
