Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Interventional Technologist for a full-time, day-shift role. 40 hours weekly with a $20,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians in invasive cardiovascular procedures, operating complex equipment, and upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced lab.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• ACLS, BLS upon hire; PALS within 90 days.
• 3 years direct Cardiovascular/Interventional Radiology technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in invasive, interventional and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
• Support quality control and participate in department policies and team goals.

Job description

We are hiring for Cardiac Cath Lab Interventional Technologist position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

• Position is full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shifts, 40 hours per week.
• $20,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
• Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Assists cardiovascular Physicians in performing and completing invasive, interventional and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in Labs using a variety of complicated/advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies. Knowledgeable in Vascular, Cardiac, and Pediatric Procedural practice, Neuro interventional procedures, as well as emergent techniques/protocol. Assists in Quality Control checks/Quality Improvement Program. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes "team" concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy. Able to observe hospital and departmental policies on confidentiality. CVS patients served range from neonates to senior citizens.

Required qualifications:

• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• 3 years- Direct work experience in Cardiovascular and/or Interventional Radiological procedures as a Cardiovascular Technologist.

Preferred qualifications:

• Associate's Degree- From an accredited school with supervised clinical experience in invasive Cardiovascular, and/or Interventional Radiological procedures.
• Special Procedures/Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist experience.
