Job summary
Corewell Health’s Dearborn Hospital seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager for the 7S Neurosurgical Unit. You will lead a high-performing team, drive quality outcomes, and oversee staff development in a Level II trauma setting.
The role reports to the Director of Nursing and requires BSN with RN license, plus leadership experience. Typical hours are 40 per week, day shift, Monday through Friday, in Dearborn, MI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience required.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- One year of formal nursing leadership experience (external candidates) required.
- Two years of demonstrated informal leadership experience for internal candidates required.
Responsibilities
- Maintains 24-hour accountability for leadership and management of a designated patient care unit.
- Promotes high-quality nursing care and cost-effective resource utilization.
- Oversees staff development and a Patient- and Family-Centered Care culture.
- Leads collaboration with physicians, staff, patients, and interdisciplinary partners.
