Job summary

The VIOS Clinic is seeking a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (PA) to provide locum tenens support in a diverse clinical setting in California. This role covers new patient consults, pre-operative evaluations, H&Ps, inpatient rounding, surgical assisting, discharges and postop follow-ups in both clinic and hospital environments.

Experience with spine surgery and inpatient neurosurgical care is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• NCCPA certification, BLS required.
• DEA license required.
• Cerner EMR proficiency required.

• Manage new patient consults, pre-operative evaluations, histories & physicals, inpatient rounding, surgical assisting, discharges, and post-operative follow-ups in clinic and hospital settings.
• Support spine surgery patients; inpatient neurosurgical care experience is preferred.
• Work in inpatient and outpatient settings over 10-hour shifts, four days a week, with no nights or weekends.
