Job summary

BAS HealthCare seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner specialized in neurosurgery to provide inpatient coverage at our Seattle, WA facility. You will work 4/10s per week from 7:00am to 5:00pm and participate in occasional weekend beeper calls with 12-hour shifts, handling about 10 patient encounters per shift.

Active WA license or IMLC, board certification, and DEA license are required, along with ACLS and BLS.

Job Details:

• Provide inpatient neurosurgery coverage working 4/10s per week (7:00am - 5:00pm shifts)
• Occasional weekend beeper call coverage on Saturdays and Sundays, 12-hour days (7am - 7pm), with rounding in the AM followed by beeper call
• Manage approximately 10 patient encounters per shift
• Full-time coverage need starting as soon as privileged, with an anticipated start around October, ongoing likely through next Spring
• Must hold an active Washington State license or active IMLC license
• Board certification required
• DEA required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30-60 days
• Long-term housing assistance available with pre-approval required
