Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support the Neurosurgery department in a combined inpatient/outpatient setting in Minnesota. You will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, prescribe therapies, and educate patients as part of a physician/nurse team.

Required qualifications include an NP credential, MN RN license, and ACLS/BLS; the role features a 10-hour shift, a 40-hour work week, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner program with board certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical care for patients as part of a physician/nurse team in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Completes comprehensive patient assessments and determines diagnosis and treatment.
• Prescribes medications, therapies and medical equipment as appropriate.
• Educates patients and coordinates with multidisciplinary teams.
